Iman Willoughby, President
Registered Massage Therapist

As the founding president of MCPANS, Iman is committed to the promotion of health and wellness in our Association leadership role. Iman graduated with honours from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in 2010 with a specialty in chronic pain. Her practice as a massage therapist has broadened to include the use of tools such as cups (Hijama) and Guasha. She is also certified in Chinese Meridian Massage and acupressure therapy and is comfortable delivering therapeutic, deep tissue massage as well as tailoring treatments that focus on effectively resolving clients’ issues/complaints.

Iman is an MD with over 10 years of training and practice inside and outside of the Canadian medical and healthcare system. She now chooses to focus her practice solely on Therapeutic Massage.

Peter Willoughby, Vice President

Peter Willoughby, Vice President, has had a lifelong interest in health and nutrition. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Certificate of Applied Sciences from Acadia University. A family man, Peter is a public servant with 15 years of service and has served as a corporate director on several boards.

Laura Kenig, Director

Serving as director and administrator, Laura has an extensive background in office administration. Her primary role with MCPANS is to provide administrative support. She is passionate about helping others and ensuring operations run smoothly. Her joys in life include family and co-workers.

Teresa Lush, Treasurer

Serving as treasurer, Teresa oversees the financial administration of our Association. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University of Newfoundland and has over two decades of experience in international business development.

Julia Sanders, Member at Large

Julia is committed to the promotion of health and wellness in Nova Scotia and Association objectives. Julia is a graduate of Acadia University, later completing her diploma in massage therapy from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2011. She has since completed a number of programs including training in CranioSacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute, Osteopathic Approach to Management of Post-Concussion Syndrome,and Level 1 and 2 Reiki.
